Gyeonggi Province hosted a meeting of affiliated
institutions at the Gyeonggi R&DB Center regarding the expanded acceptance
of the Provincial Resident Card. The meeting was held with the participation of
over 20 public institutions including the Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Corporation,
Gwangmyeong Urban Corporation, and Korea Manhwa Contents Agency.
To obtain the Provincial Resident Card, one simply needs to install the ‘Gyeonggi Ddok D’ app and consent to card membership after identity verification; the card can be used immediately after issuance. Showing the card at affiliated public facilities will verify residence, age, number of children, disabilities, merit, and other qualifications for applicable discounts.
