In this blog post, we will provide information on how to make a reservation and get to the Hwadam Botanic Garden, a popular tourist destination in Korea during the spring and fall.
1. Introduction to Hwadam Botanic Garden in Gyeonggi Province
The Hwadam Botanic Garden is an eco-friendly arboretum located in Gwangju City, Gyeonggi Province, just 40 minutes from Seoul. It is a natural space designed to be accessible to anyone who loves nature, and the entire walking trail is gently sloped to attract families.
It takes at least two hours to see the entire forest, but visitors can also use the Hwadam Botanic Garden monorail for a more comfortable viewing experience. Monorail tickets can be purchased on a first-come, first-served basis at ticket booths and automated machines at each station. However, it may be difficult to use the monorail at your desired time as many people use it during the spring and fall. Visitors who want to use the monorail are recommended to go directly to the monorail ticket machine after entering the forest to check the course and boarding time and then purchase the ticket.
