Do you know what special day falls on June 5 each year? It is the World Environment Day!
First established at the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment held in Stockholm in 1972, World Environment Day has become a significant occasion to promote and practice environmental protection.
In honor of World Environment Day, we would like to introduce you to Bucheon Eco Park, a hidden gem in Gyeonggi Province.
This is a wonderful place to relax in nature while reflecting on the importance of environmental conservation.

Bucheon Eco Park
This place is not just a park but a space where you can enjoy a variety of activities in nature!
It features several attractions including the Mureungdowon Arboretum, Bucheon Botanic Garden, Ecological Museum, Agricultural Relics Exhibition, and Forest Playground for kids, offering a diverse range of experiences in nature.
Please note that some facilities charge separate admission fees.
Entrance Fees:
• Arboretum: KRW 1,000
• Botanic Garden: KRW 2,000
• Natural Ecology Museum: KRW 2,000
Arboretum Entrance (Separate Admission Fee)
Agricultural Relics Exhibition (located inside the park)
Among the many attractions, visitors can find petrified wood formed millions of years ago, displayed throughout the park to enhance your understanding of nature.
As you stroll along the trails, you can enjoy the fresh greenery and beautiful flowers, feeling the refreshing tranquility of nature.
There are also resting areas with benches where you can relax comfortably.

• Public Transportation: Walk 512 meters from Exit 1 of Kkachisan Station on Subway Line 7
• Opening Hours: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM (March to October)
• Closed: Every Monday, January 1st, Lunar New Year's Day, and Chuseok
• Admission Fees: Vary by facility
