Welcome to Aqua Planet Ilsan! Opened in 2014, this massive aquarium is four times the size of the one in Seoul’s 63 Building and boasts a main tank that holds a whopping 2,000 metric tons of water. It’s a place where you can enjoy various ecological exhibitions and captivating performances.

When you arrive at Aqua Planet Ilsan, the first thing you'll notice is the enormous building adorned with the aquarium’s logo. As you enter, you'll be greeted by a plethora of exhibits and themed zones that instantly immerse you in the mysteries of the ocean. The ‘Ocean Arena’ is particularly impressive, allowing you to observe a variety of marine life up close. Sharks, rays, and colorful tropical fish swimming in the giant tanks make you feel as though you're taking a stroll under the sea.

Aqua Planet Ilsan features several themed zones. Operating from 10:20 AM to 5:20 PM, this ride allows you to get an up-close view of the marine life from a transparent boat. The cost is KRW 10,000 per person, and it’s best to reserve your spot in advance.

Endless Fun with Shows and Events Aqua Planet Ilsan hosts a variety of shows and events. The ‘Aqua Fantasy Show’ is a spectacular performance featuring marine animals, and you can catch the ‘Mermaid Show’ on weekends and holidays. Don’t miss the stingray feeding and ecological presentation held daily at 3:30 PM.

For KRW 130,000 KRW, you can enjoy unlimited visits for a year, with one free entry per day. There’s also a weekday afternoon pass available for KRW 90,000 KRW, valid from 2 PM to 6 PM on week days.

To avoid the crowds, it’s best to visit on weekdays rather than weekends or holidays. Since Aqua Planet Ilsan is an indoor facility, you can enjoy it regardless of the weather. Remember to book your tickets through the official website in advance to take advantage of discounts.
