Hello! Today, let’s dive into the heart of traditional Korean performing arts with the
Anseong Namsadang Nori show 🎶 – a colorful, lively experience that keeps audiences
of all ages entertained and engaged.
The First Korean Idols? Who Were the Namsadang Troupes?
The Namsadang troupes originated in Cheongnyong-ri, Seoun-myeon, Anseong City, Gyeonggi Province, and are considered Korea’s oldest professional performing artists. Known as "Namsadangpae" during the Joseon Dynasty, these performers traveled from market to village, captivating audiences with dance, music, and acrobatics – making them the original "idols" of Korean entertainment! 😎
The Namsadangpae brought laughter, amazement, and joy to ordinary people, adding vibrancy to daily life. Today, Anseong Namsadang Nori continues this legacy, with regular weekend performances keeping the spirit of this art alive. The Diverse Program of Anseong Namsadang Nori
The Anseong Namsadang Nori show features six dynamic acts, each showcasing the unique artistry of the Namsadang troupe. These acts are full of exciting skills and passionate performances that demonstrate the troupe's historical entertainment value.
