This expansive park is home to lush green spaces, playgrounds, and scenic walking trails, all set against the backdrop of a stunning tidal waterway known as a "gaetgol." Unlike typical mudflats, gaetgol in Korean refers to a water channel where seawater flows deep inland, creating a fascinating landscape.

This very landscape once hosted active salt farms, and remnants of these historic salt fields still remain! 💧

At Siheung Gaetgol Eco Park, you can do more than just admire the scenery—you can actually participate in a salt-making experience! 

This interactive program allows you to learn how salt is produced while engaging your senses. Feel the salt with your hands, watch the process unfold, and truly immerse yourself in this one-of-a-kind activity.

💰 Fee: KRW 5,600 per person

✔ Walk-in registration only (weekends, first-come-first-served) – Card payment only

✔ Open to ages 36 months and older (max 40 participants per session)

🕒 Salt Farm Experience Schedule

Groups (April–October): Tuesday–Friday (10:30 AM, 11:30 AM)

Individuals (Weekends & Holidays): 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM

Closed for the experience in July & August
